guest post over at.....

hey lovelies i thought i would mention i was over at bright bold and beautiful today chatting about what i am thankful for this november.....go on over and take a look!

this is why i love scrunch faces

this among many other things is why i love bulldogs. they are just too adorable for words to even describe. who wouldn't want one of these?

the office

i wear "comfy" school clothes most of the time. leggings, oversized knits, hunter boots and that sort of thing. sometimes i think though how fun would it be to get all dolled up for the office? i hope one day i work somewhere trendy enough to appreciate this attire because this is what i will be wearing!

weekend in the city

this weekend i spent by my mums and it was lovely. we ran errands, went to appointments, had lunches and best of all we shopped. i mean i shopped. i felt like i hadn't done a good shop in awhile and this shop was much anticipated due to frequent online window shopping days and plenty of saving up of working funds. so hopefully over this week i can get some pics in of my purchases which include knit sweaters, a snood, knee socks and best of all my new years eve dress which i had been searching for endlessly since summer (this new years eve i will be at a very special wedding so the dress had to fit the part). that is all for now!
have a fabulous monday and toodles xoxo

have you ever known a love like this

this movie looks so moving i almost starting tearing up in the theatre when i saw the trailer. for me it really hits close to home. long distance relationships are one of the most difficult relationships to maintain no matter what situation you are put in. they test the strongest of bonds, healthiest of relationships and happiest of couples. but if you are patient, invested, committed and full of love, oh the satisfaction of it working feels amazing. to all those couples out there who are proving that love can overcome all obstacles keep holding on! and watch this...not sure how it ends but i am hoping with a happy ending! have an amazing weekend xoxo

lest we forget

today is november the 11th or remembrance day.
it is kind of a day of nostalgia for me because it brings back memories of family.
so here is a little family history for ya!
my papa was a world world II vet.
he snuck his way into the canadian forces and at just 17 he went over to france.
 he was there on d-day.
my papa saved the life of his best friend norm on the front lines.
i heard that story what feels like a hundred times as a little girl.
both my grand-mothers fathers were RAF pilots in world war I.
one for britain the other for canada.
pilots on both side! makes me wonder if they ever knew each other?
wouldn't that have been neat.
they all make me proud.
so today let us take a moment for those who fought for our freedom.
xoxo
