my tangy hummus

topped with parsley

i made this hummus awhile ago and i just wanted to share with you all before the crazy weekend ahead. it was a spontaneous hummus (sometimes those recipes are the best) so here it is hope you enjoy and have a fab weekend <3

  • 2 cans chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup of fat free yogurt
  • 2 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 3 chives finely chopped 
  • a handful of sun dried tomatoes 
  • a handful of parsley 
  • the juice of half a lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • a dash of cinnamon...or maybe 2 dashes
  • a touch of milk
place chickpeas into food processor and lightly pulse until lightly chopped. then add all other ingredients and pulse until ingredients form a smooth consistency. when all is whipped up add a touch of milk for some creaminess and voila. if you don't want a lot of dairy in your hummus you can use a couple tbsp of olive oil instead of yogurt and milk.
