an underwater sculpture park

jason de caires taylor is an english sculptor who has and continues to produce the most incredibly unique pieces of underwater sculpture. his work is stunning but more importantly this clever artist has produced works that serves a practical function. over time the works facilitate an environment for marine life and encourage the growth of the ever endangered coral reef. he has installed works around the world including places like cancun, grenada and greece. jason was born to an english father and guyanese mother but his work can be seen as reflective of his west indian roots. it is great to know there is so much talent investing in the west indian art scene.
